Ours is a Jesus movement born in the fires of America’s second great awakening in the early nineteenth century. We believe Jesus came, died, and rose again for all people and that all people need an abiding relationship with him in order to truly live both now and for eternity. He promised abundant life to all who follow him, and it is our task as his followers to introduce people to him.

In short our mission is to make more and better disciples by establishing more and better communities of faith all over the world in his name. That was our agenda at the start and it is still our first priority today. As such the CGGC could be described as an evangelical, Biblically based, mission focused family of churches.

Region

The Eastern Regional Conference exists to empower life-giving ministries within the Region and beyond. We work together to influence our communities to influence people for Christ.

It is our desire to resource and train individuals, pastors, and churches so that they can discover, develop, and deploy disciples as Jesus commanded. Through these deployed disciples, it is our desire to see ministries and churches multiply throughout our region and beyond.

CHURCH CAMP

Doubling Gap Center, once a turn of the century luxurious resort, is a year-round retreat center located nine miles north of Newville, PA.  This unique facility and its 150 acres are nestled within the ‘doubling gaps’ of the Blue Mountain.  DGC hosts churches, youth groups, Christian fellowships, and other organizations who come looking for relaxation and renewal.  Doubling Gap Center has been touching lives since 1946.


Camp YoliJwa (YOuth LIving Jesus’ WAy) is the Christian Camping Ministry of the Eastern Regional Conference Churches of God. The YoliJwa program consists of fifteen weeks of summer camp and four different weekend retreats. Camp YoliJwa is designed to provide an opportunity for children, youth and adults to share in Christian living experiences. Camp YoliJwa has been touching lives since 1934.
